alternator pulley size

im running the multibelt set up on my eaton and need a pulley for my g40 alternator to suit. so it needs to be same diameter as g40 one but instead of the v belts its the wider multi-type belt.

i know i can use a pulley off a mk3 golf but which model as i wanna get this diameter right so i dont overload the battery or not charge it enough.

any ideas

ps what is the OD of a standard alternator pulley for the G40

There are 2 Pulleys listed for a Mk3 Golf.
021 903 119 E - 15
030903119 C - 4-6,10,11

The remarks, in italics, don't mean anything to me but they might mean something to you.

The problem is that alternators recently aren't serviceable parts any more, so you cant really buy parts for them. Best bet is to get both and compare, unless you can find somebody to measure for you

I think it is either 72 or 75mm pulley standard however im not 100%
