R1 charger rebuilt and fitted, induction kit is extra loud?!
« on: December 04, 2010, 06:04:35 pm »
i i had my charger ported to R1 spec by Brian at jabba,
Then rebuilt it myslef, fitted it back,
I cleaned the filter and inter-cooler whilst i was there, they are spanking.
Also fitted a 65mm pulley

Just wondering i now when i drive the induction kit it really loud, like a chavvy saxo,

Just wondered if this was normal and what has caused it,
Clean airfilter
R1

Jabba stage 4 with an induction kit's pretty noisey; quite frankly I couldn't live with it. It's back to the normal setup with a K&N panel filter for me. Much more discreet, nobody turning to stare.
