Crankshaft bolt
« on: December 01, 2010, 02:12:09 am »
Hi
Can you please help me on how to remove the crankshaft pulley bolt?
It's necessary to remove the starter?
Thanks
Regards

using an air gun is the easiest way.  Or if you've got the sump off then you can use blocks of wood between the crank counter weights and the block to stop the crank rotating. Or you can make some kind of flywheel locking tool which would probably be easiest by taking the starter off and bolting something in there.
