valves???? still need some anyone help!!!!!

i need 4 inlet and 2 exhaust valves for my G40 rand vw an there on back order so dont know how long it will take to get some!

anyone have some laying around???

As far as I'm aware, the G40 inlet valves are the same as any other 1272cc mk3 Polo. Its only the exhaust valves that are specific in that they are sodium filled.
You may have to check on the year of the head/car because IIRC very late heads have different size valve stems. Not 100% on that, but it might be best to check when ordering.
I would have thought either ECP or GSF etc would be able to source the inlet valves? As for the exhaust valves it'd be VW only or you could try G-Werks, Gladersiete or Rennsport in Germany.

yea mate i have been onto him i might buy both the heads of him as spares if i can get these then i wont need yours pete but thanks for the offer! this is the only real site left now where people are willing to help!

How much are the exhaust valves from VW?

yea i think they where 19 pound each plus vat which i thought will have to be alright an then he told me there on bk order an dont know how long it would take to get hold of me some could take a year!!!

well i was buyin them from the lad with the damaged head but no luck now he wont get back in touch so back on the hunt!
