CAR SPECIFICATIONS:

Model : VW Polo
Engine size : G40 1.3 supercharged
Year : 1997
Colour : silver

ENGINE MODIFICATIONS :

Started life as a 1.4 16v but now has the following,

Fully rebuilt 1272 G40 PY engine less than 2000 miles ago
Stage 4 super charger (with stand alone oil pump) fully rebuilt less than 2000 miles ago
65mm steel pulley kit
Gas flowed head with 1mm larger valves
Schrick cam
Adjustable cam pulley
Gas flowed G40 inlet
De-wedged throttle body
Custom accelerator cable bracket
4 branch manifold
Power flow 2" exhaust system with 3" rolled out tail pipe
Front mount intercooler with brackets on bumper bar.
Blue silicone hoses
blue cone filter
rebuilt gearbox with longer gears
oil catch tank
remap chip

STYLING MODIFICATIONS:

resprayed silver
Smooth boot, de badged and no boot handle
Removed rear wiper, with plate
Colour coded handles and mirrors
Badge-less grill
Sprayed black roof
Rolled and pulled arches
Tinted rear lights
Tinted side repeaters
Clear front indicators
HID clear headlights

INTERIOR:

Momo comp steering wheel
Boost gauge in air vent
6n2 GTI seats
stripped rear and re-sprayed silver (but can come with rear gti seats)

CHASSIS:

vw g60 banded steelies, banded professionally and professionally powder-coated a metallic dark silver, 8jx15, 195 rears (strech) 185s front (strech and poke)
Rear disc conversion using complete rear axle from seat ibzia GTI with polo GTI calipers and poly bushes
FK konisport coilovers
280mm front brakes
poly bushes for the rear of the wishbone
Manual steering rack
modified solid rear gearbox mount


JUST THIS MONTH REPLACED:
ALTERNATOR, INJECTORS, LEADS, SPARK PLUGS, COIL, THE WHOLE DISTRIBUTOR, CHARGER BELT, BATTERY, TEMPERATURE SENSOR, AIR FILTER, PROBABLY MORE I've FORGOT.

THIS IS A WELL LOOKED AFTER CAR, CLEANED EVERY WEEK AND WARMED UP PROPERLY BEFORE DRIVES, EASILY A MAGAZINE WORTHY CAR.

THIS IS A QUICK LITTLE CAR THAT GETS ALOT OF ATTENTION WHEREVER IT GOES, THE WHINE IS CRAZY AND TURNS ALOT OF HEADS, BOOST IS IMENSE PUT ALOT OF CARS TO SHAME, 1ST AND 2ND GEAR IS BRUTAL AND SPINS OUT IF YOUR NOT CAREFUL.

ALSO RATHER GOOD ON FUEL, CAN DO 100 MILES ON £15 V POWER SUPER UNLEADED

THIS CAR HAS GREAT PAINTWORK, THERE ISNT A SCUFF/SCRATCH ON IT, BEING SILVER LIGHT SCRATCHES ARE INVISIBLE, AND THE BLACK ROOF IS POLISHED AND WAXED EVERY WEEK TO KEEP IT LOOKING MINT!

IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD TURBO IT, FROM THE MONEY YOUD GET FOR THE CHARGER ETC YOU COULD BUY MOST THE TURBO PARTS, AFTER THAT YOUR LOOKING PAST 200BHP

I'm CURRENTLY AT THE PEAK OF TUNING WITH A G LADER CHARGER, RUNNING AROUND 170BHP ALL THATS LEFT IS A REMAP 180BHP, UNLESS YOU WANT FASTER, THEN TURBO IT.

BAD POINTS:
EXHAUST NEEDS A FLEXI ABOUT £20, ITS NOT BEEN A PRIORITY
TRACKING A TAD OUT (THINK THIS IS DUE TO THE COLLIES HIGHT) SO PULL REALLY LIGHTLY TO THE LEFT, EASY FIX
I NEED TO LOWER IT ON THE REAR A BIT, BUT haven't HAD THE TIME. THATS JUST ME BEING PICKY
I ALSO WANTED TO GET ALL 3 STRUTS AND STIFFEN IT UP, AND MAKE IT HANDLE WELL BUT DONT WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER £100 ON IT. AGAIN ME BEING PICKY.
WOULD BE FASTER/SMOOTHER AND BETTER ON FUEL AFTER A REMAP, BUT haven't HAD THE MONEY.

SELLING AS I WANT TO GO JAP, DONE THE EURO SCENE

WOULD DEFIANTLY PART EX FOR A GLANZA OR SIMILAR

CANT GO LOWER AS I HAVE LITERATELY SPENT ALOT ON THIS CAR! AND AM NOT LOOSING OUT AGAIN.
