wont start
« on: June 23, 2010, 08:40:53 pm »
well recently my cars not been starting, it generally starts 3rd try or sometimes 5th.
my car has been running rich and overfueling and im guessing the plugs are pretty knackered,
im getting my remap chip fitted this week and new plugs and oil change at the same time, should this fix the starting up problem?

Could be so many problems
Does it try to start? Is it turning over slowly?
Spark on each HT lead?
How's it running when it is started?

Faulty fuel pressure reg? Fuel not immediately available at injectors. Pull an injector and see if fuels there right away when you turn the key.
