Hi gang,

Im James, 19 years old and live in Melbourne Australia.

We didnt get the g40 in Austrlia and only got Polo's in the late 90's with the 6n.

I have been browsing mant UK forums lately as I have plans of a few years of coming over purchasing a car, doing the summer shows/evnts/track days and then onto the Ring.

I own a Mk3 CL:



Dad has a Mk1 16v trackcar:



Aircooled VW's are popular here but Watercooled not so much.

Hope to learn lots about the small charging Dubs.

Yeah he runs it in a class called Improved Production.

Do all the Victorian Tracks: Phillip Island, Winton and Sandown.

Then we go interstate to Tasmania, NSW and SA.

Just as many meets as I can get too. Weathe rit be just a small gathering like the Newport Edition monthly meet to a huge Summer show.

well, if you're interested in Polos then you should also plan to go to the Polo Show which is in Northampton every summer, check out clubpolo.co.uk for details.  Probably get more g40s there than any other show.

Yeah got my eyes on a Mk3 Polo. Will be keen as mustard to attend the Polo show.

Few years til I make it to the UK so ill be all clued up on the small dub by then.
