Dizzy and starter motor

Bascially i got oil leaking next to my dizzy and was told its a little ring i need to replace! is this right? if so where do i get one??

and with starter motors could i just fit a starter motor from any mk3 polo down the scrap yard???

any mk3 starter yes...

take the dizzy out nd there is a seal there....  ask gsf or dealers

Starter - yep, all are the same on MK3 polos (late ones have a slightly thinner case). Dizzy O ring, there are two:



VW part numbers are:

Item 8 = +030905224
Item 9 = 030905261

Look to be fairly expensive from the dealer (perhaps ~£7 for both ETKA prices).
