« on: July 30, 2008, 08:17:28 pm »
Hey UK G40 freaks,

I'm Rogier (you can call me Roger) i'm 30 years young and living in the netherland
in the city of the Dutch TT Assen.

I found this Forum on Google and i can tell you i really like it to meet some UK
G40 lovers!

Don't mind my english it must get better one day becouse my sister is living in London
but hey try to talk dutch haha so i'm really doing my best here ;-)

This is my ride:

Volkswagen Polo 86c G40 1991
6000k HID xenon conversion kit
White LED citylights
Golf mkII custom germanstyle rimms
175-50-13 dunlops in front
195-45-13 conti's in back

Supersport 60/60 lowering kit
Sachs race engineering sport clutch
Sachs race engineering light flywheel 3.8kg
Sachs race engineering pressuregroup (correct spelling? i'm dutch you know haha)

The colour of my G40 is Caprigreen
(in the netherland it's a unique colour for so far i know i'm the only G40 in the netherland with this colour on a G40)

near Future plans:
Flowed G-lader
JD-engineering software road made
5pk multibelt
Wide body (steel)
Lether interieur
Aluminium engine parts
Polished engine parts
Golden engine parts (i have allready got 24k golden screws)

hello!  Welcome to the forum, we're getting G40 owners from all over europe on here now which is cool.

Your car looks very good, I love the steel wheels.

There are a couple of Capri Green G40s in the UK that I know of.

Thanx m8, i just have found a capri green G40 for sale on this forum
so it must be a more common colour in the Uk than it is in The netherlands.

So it's becoming a real international G40 forum lol

Welcome to the forum, again good to see more international friends of the G40. I'm kind of getting to like the look of banded steelies, they look great on your car.

Capri Green is a fairly common colour in the UK, it's Montana Green which is the rare version in the UK.

Hey thanx m8,

Brand of the exhaust is Supersprint type Magnum
But this exhaust will be replaced soon by an double exhaust groupe A in the middle of my rear bumper hand made by EPS (best exhaust company of the netherlands)

Banded steelies is the greatest! it was hard working to get them like this
but the result is fantastic!
I believe in the UK the call is european style?
in holland we call is "German Style" Low and Wide!

The fenders will get wider with 6cm (2.36")  back 4cm (1.57") in front
when fenders are ready the front will lower an extra 4cm (1.57") and the back an extra 2cm (0.79")

So it will get a mean look but also verry important i will keep the original lines of the car
with an accent on the fenders and wheels

Also i will only use as mutch as possible original VAG/VW parts
don't wanna have a tupperware car like the most Honda's and other Jap's
I like original with a custom touch
