22mm master cylinder problem
« on: March 24, 2010, 05:50:30 pm »
A converted my front brakes into 256mm and rear into discs with golf mk4 calipers.
I had the stock 20mm master cylinder and the pedal was traveling a lot. Today i swaped into 22mm one. The pedal distance increased (???) and the braking feeling is worst...
Do you adjust the nut into servo before you place the 22 master cylinder?

probably needs bleeding more, travel should be reduced with a bigger master cylinder, sounds like there is some air trapped in there still
