Just wondered why it needs honing already matey?   otherwise very interested

i had someone to put new rings in for me 1500miles ago but i didnt have a clue really and should have asked them to hone the bores aswel but i didnt.

think its because originally when aw tracksport built the engine i picked the car up and the time was using loads of oil on way home. turns out that aw tracksport put 0w60 oil in the thing and possibly glazed the bores. i never had this done though.

they look and feel smooth and shiny
