Tyres?
« on: January 30, 2010, 06:08:53 pm »
I bought some 7" ats classics cos they came up cheap off my mate.  they came with 165/55/13's.  the car is down 60/60 on H&R cup kit so catches ever so slightly under load on the near side rear...hence my other thread about the axle im guessing this is due to the fuel filler neck.  Anyways the tyres i got with the wheels are shit budget ones and i want some decent branded ones.  what size do other epople run?  Im concerened that if i go bigger? say 175/60/13's  (fitted to my BBS) theyll become an issue catching but i cant find any branded 165/55's?  I don't want 50's as it'll be too harsh.  Im tempted to go back to my original BBs as you have no issues whatso ever and dare i say it the ride quality is far far better haha.  Can anyone recommend anything or does anyone know what 175/60's will be like?

Just had a quick look on Mytyres website, they list Pirelli P700's in 165/55 size, but they're nearly £60 a corner!
