some golf seats have height adjustment but they'll still sit higher up than polo seats, they look weird and arent as comfy plus if you're tall then you'll have issues.

corrado or scirocco seats are the ones to use, these are nice and low, give a great driving position in a mk2/3 polo.  i used to have corrado seats in my GT breadvan and i loved them.  scirocco ones are pretty much the same.

I had Recaros in my mk2 Golf and loved them, so in the G they went! They are height adjustable and as I'm 6'2" they have to be set all the way down and my head still sometimes brushes the roof (sunroof model), but I had this issue with the original seats. The seats do go straight in but they sit further forward than standard seats so my left knee was touching the dash. But as the seats have a flat base with seperate subframes put new mounting bosses in to move them back. This only gave me another inch but made all the difference!
