axle stands and jacking points

my chest still hurts from when my merc fell on me doing a simple oil change using stands, how that was my only injury ill never know,  ??? ???

If you really want all 4 up off the floor then use building blocks. (blocks not bricks)  I used 3 stacked flat on their side on each corner with a bit of wood on top and this gave me all the room and stability i needed. Bomb proof imo...

i usually only use 2 axle stands at a time, but when i need access i drive the front up on ramps then jack the back up and axle stands,

Thats what i have done in past and i find that works fine.
