And I'm buying a new one to have my racing G40...

Sorry for my english, I'll try to do my best to be as clearly as possible!
If you see something not correct on my english, please, teach me!!!

Great cars!  I love mk2 g40's!  Get some more photos some time.

As for your English it's not bad and certainly understandable.  You do however write as a direct translation of French.  For example. To own something for 7 years you wouldn't exactly say I have had it 'since' 7 years but more I have 'had' it 7 years.  It's a bit like in French when you write J'ai sept ans...which translates directly as I 'have' 7 years.  Whereas in English you would write I 'am' 7 years old.  It's just grammatical really we can still make full sense of what your saying but you did say correct your English ha ha.

The MK2 looks great! I wanted a MK2 Coupe S for my first car, but ended up with a Golf.

the white one was in the hand of one of my friend two weeks ago! now back to original.

the red one is GREAT... I have a question for you... you have the GK rocker cover. so you haven't the bypass? your system is intelligent. you are every time driving with the charger?
it's a good idea. and what about the original hockenheim? I like this wheels.
I will rebuilt one too... but only for the run.

thanks for the lesson. I will take care in the future. don't stop, I learn.

the photos of my other one( already in my hands... I can't sell my G!!!) will be here soon.

thanks for welcome.

Hi and welcome manitas :)
I much prefer the mk2 Polos myself and your original G40 is great.

Nick, that MK2 replica you have built looks a beauty! I remember when you got the Coupe S and said you were gonna make it a G40 conversion. 'Looks fantastic mate with a superb finish on the paintwork and underbonnet detail.
It might be just the pics, but have you changed the colour from the original Indian red?

The boost return modification is fairly common here in the UK. It gives better performance for the engine, but you have to remamber to lubricate the inside of the supercharger manually yourself with PTFE white spray grease.

I still have the Hockenheim alloys. I would keep them on if i could fit my 256mm front brakes underneath!

@Breadman - Paintwork is still factory, its just that the rot metallic polishes up well and looks good in the sunlight ;D
