The new daily drive
« on: November 15, 2009, 06:05:48 pm »
Picked up this in the week due to now having an 80 mile/day commute to work and the 1043cc mk3 saloon was showing its lack of comfort
I prefer the lines of the B5 facelift to the later B6 chassis or the Passat chassis which i could have gone for within my budget.

2000 Audi A4 TDI SE (115bhp)
120k miles
Full service history
Air con, CD boot changer, alloys and leather steering wheel.

Did a nice 50 mpg average this week according to the on board MFA

Above all, not a bad bus for the money. Well pleased with it.

nice motor, considering something like that to replace my b5 passat as it's getting a bit long in the tooth now (155k on it now).  What kind of money did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

Only cost me 2k ;D

Went to look at a V reg one up at £1500 near Burnley. 155k on the clock, no service history and airbag light on the dash (instant MOT fail). I didn't even haggle a price, just walked away.
