The Rotrex charger  looks interesting doesn't it. Sizewise it should be a clean fit under the bonnet. Googled it but no prices; frightening rpm though.

a lad called Kam had one of those rotrex chargers on a g40 engine in a mk1 derby.  He used it because of it's small size which meant he didn't have to hack up the front of the derby like people have had to do to fit g-laders in them.

an interesting idea, putting a cosworth turbo engine into an AX
