g40 idling issues/cold start

right guys....im having cold start issues with my g40 i start my in the morning it idles at 1200rpm if you just touch the pedal it shoots to 2k and holds for a very long time.you then go to drive the car as you go through the gears then go to neutral it hunts.after you boot the car (once warm).it sorts it self out and idles perfect.i have checked my boost hoses.breathers etc.help has any one had this problem before?

i have the exact same problem, changed the isv, checked my throttle cable - no joy. could the hunting be sumthing to do with the cam.

what cam have you got init???if its a 270/280 its a mild one and it shouldnt do that.

checked all vacum hoses.i took the throttle body off today cleaned it found melted plastic lol init.put it back on now it shoots to 3grand for a mo then drops again down to idle.and holds idle

am not sure what my cam is as i never fitted it but its a newman.  Had my throttle body off aswell never found anything wrong.

erm i cleand the throttle it holds idle realy high idle then drops when warm.also i have jus turbo converted it and its running g60 greens do you rekon the adjusting the co will help as i can smell petrol peeing out of the back of it ???

Carried out some diagnostics every thing point to isv but i cant find one naywhere euro said no vw said they dont make them anymore.has any one got one???
