Blimey, that's pretty much the same spec as mine (bar the induction kit) including the colour. Nice!

There is no chance that with that spec you get a genuine 181bhp.

If you had the car on the Aldon Rolling Road which we all know is pretty damn accurate then you would see 20bhp less than that figure if not more.

Looks to me that that rolling road you used wasn't accurate.

I had the same spec as you a while back and got 150bhp at Aldon and i know of many others who have simliar specs which run 150-155bhp.

Is that two runs shown on the graph?  Or wheel and predicted flywheel power/torque?  Seems pretty unrealistic, sorry dude.

(Torque X RPM) / 5252 = Horsepower

Id guess by the bottom torque curve that 150lb/ft * 5716rpm / 5250 = 163bhp.

My engine had the same spec in the last owners car and had 157bhp at aldon!

I've never seen a g40 with a spec like that make anywhere near that power.  The standard head especially makes me think it's not possible.  Unless there's something else you've done you're keeping secret  ;D

The overlap shows before and after the custom manifold over a supersprint. I know the results seem high but having said this keeps level with a bmw e46 m3 and jaguar xkr to 130 mph. The torque is very consistant.

My car isn't even making that with ported head, custom cam and custom mapping.

I do not think your numbers can be reliable

Well nah nah nah nah nah! ::)
Joking aside I can see where you guys are coming from thats partly the reason we posted it, but saying all this JP race said the standard diff was the worst they had seen due to the torque, has also snapped driveshafts and kills cv joints. It does outrun audi s4's and lotus exige's to well over a ton. mk5 gti's are destroyed!ha ha. Will get it on another dyno just to see. This dyno was 2 years ago we just thought it would be good to post it up, cheers guys.

I always say that as long as it is quick enough in feel then any nice dyno figures are a bonus. I do agree with the rest for most part but didnt Michelle's now Pettsy's white machine make silly power for the mods done years ago? Although wasnt that at stealth?

Looks a nice car though, get some more pics up!
