Speedo query
« on: September 15, 2009, 08:16:14 pm »
Am I right in thinking that GT cloks will read the correct speed with a G40 engine fitted (up to 120, obviously)? Is it a stronger spring/spiral thingy that restricts the travel of the needle in the G40 clocks? Does that make sense?

yeah it'll still read right, just only up to 120mph as you say.

all the polo boxes use the same size speedo drive ring so if it's calibrated to one then it's calibrated to them all.
