only a couple of quid for the postage on bolts... full Kits cost about £6.50 to post insured
pete

Pete i will defently buy the bolts off you. I might as well replace the ones in my charger as its off at the mo.

its not a ten min job, takes a few hours. Quite a few people have done them off here though

Hi Pete,

Can you sell me a banjo bolt for the oil inlet? If not can you tell me where you get them from?

Cheers, Andy.

I am thinking of having a go at this. My chager is weeping a bit of oil and although i was told its been serviced i don't believe it.  I'm not the most mechanically handed of people but i have a couple of weeks off over Xmas so seems a good time to try this. Where can i get a copy of the instructions so i can have a look and see if this is do-able for me? If i'm happy to have a crack then i'll order a kit. Also any advice on what else i should be doing other than replacing the bits would be much appreciated, ie. cleaning how/what to would be really useful.

apologise if these are very naive questions but i have no experience.

thanks in advance
Ben

look ok? looks can be deceptive! the limit between new and fecked is 0.2mm - so you need to use a vernier caliper to measure whether they are actually ok or not.  as new - lots of boooost, worn out, not so much boooost.

got all the bits in stock yeah. £45 for the seals, £65 for the bearings - kluber £5 so £115 altogether.

im a pikey lad, ill stick it together with fresh seals and bearings and see what happens, if its not boosting well, then ill replace the apex seals, no point replacing if they are fine and its easy enough to split the charger down to replace the seals.

saves spending money when its not absolutely neccessary! fair point about grabbing some verniers though, i did have a set but broke the screen (digis)

ill take a gates belt as well mush, and either give ads the dollar or come along for the trip.

cheers :)

bring the apex seals - i can measure them if you want.

though i've messaged ad - you might have to swing by dk's (15 min from me) to get the heavy shit as i'm not sure i'll have time to pick it up before sun.
