Howdy chaps.

Just wondering how long the flywheel bolts are for a G40? I buzzed mine off last night, and the bolts appear to be very short, about 20mmlong at most, however they do not appear to be sheared.

I always assumed that they hwere rather long due to a picture i saw in a thread on clubpolo a while back.

Cheers chaps.

PeteG40

yeah, small length.  These are stretch bolts and torque up like head bolts and are one use only.

Wiggy

Magic, cheers. Just answered my next question too! (i.e. do they need renewed?) Thanks.

Is that M10X19 1.5MM Thread Pitch Rae. lol

Tommo

Im guessing it was M10 x 1.0 pitch, x 19.5mm long.

just use the part number!

or just say "hello, can I have a set of flywheel bolts for a 1991-1994 polo g40?".

Wiggy

Yes, but at my local stealers (Lowestoft) even that isn't as simple as it seems......if the car you're buyingparts for is more than 3 years old their brains just switch off

The part no. is N 902 061 03 and you order six.
