The last 3 tanks of V-Powers have given me 37mpg's (and thats including taking 10% off for my little wheels)

Every tank has consisted of the standard giving it death sessions!

With the lader i was getting around 32 to 34mpg's with the same driving.

Massive difference in power Martin, feels much much faster with the turbo for sure.

Interesting that it's giving more MPG. Do you have a more tweaked map for the car ? Do you think the way it delivers power/torque that it changes your driving to give you more MPG ?

I reckon most of it is because most of the time the turbo is not boosting whereas the lader is always boosting so more energy is required to keep the lader turning all the time. whereas off boost the turbo makes the engine run like a NA 1.3.

The bypass valve means the supercharger isn't doing much work when it's off boost. It runs like a NA 1.3 most of the time as well; boost guage will show vacuum until you put your foot down but I agree that it takes some energy just to keep it turning all the time. On full boost it's a lot less efficient than a turbo. It takes something like 10bhp to run a stock G40 charger at full boost. All G40s with superchargers should be allowed to add at least 10bhp to flywheel power figures to try and keep up with the turbos.
