back fire and poping problem help plz

hi guyz i have a bit off a problem with the g40  :'(

i would be driving as normal and all of  a sudden the car losees power for one sec and pops flames or a puff of black smoke out the back its happend at high speeds on motorway and aslo low speeds on normal roads some time it cuts aswell but then all of a sudden it drives fine.

help plz guyz ???

its like it is overfueling for that split sec
i done the blue temp senser not long ago so dont think its that could it b my fuel pressure reg ??? i dounno

Ignition circuit- hard to say if it's the coil or hall sender though, they both have the same habits when worn. Carry a spare of each if you can.

Might be worth pulling the plugs just to give you an idea of engine health too.

hi guyz thanks for your replys

yeh i just put brand new spark plugs in it yesterday

ill change the coil pack on tuesday and let you no if its sorted it

i guess i should do the hall sender aswel

after driving the car today the car is cutting out whilst driving normaly

do you reckon its the same problem

if its cutting out and then kicking back into action again then i reckon its 90% hall sender problem.

when my coil died..it just didnt run at all...

yeh hi guyz ive just done the coil today did not have any time to check it but i have one more questain

i need to get some good ht leads due to one being very rusty i spoke to jabba and he told me uses the standard ones they work best he said

what is your say in this and if high porformace ones are gd were can i get a good set from

i had a look at the car today and i renewed
dizzy cap
rotor arm
hall sender
ht leads
spark plugs
coil
after this i tested the car and i think the car is ok now

once again thank you for all your help.
