6 Speed Box

Right, I heard rumours that a 6 speed box from a polo or lupo gti should theoretically fit a G40 engine.

Obviously there are other things to consider such as hydro clutch etc.

I knew there was a few threads on the Pitstop forum regarding this, but all I could find on there was grot (Guess its been hacked or summat)

I did a quick search on here but couldn't find anything regarding this topic.

Does anyone know anything about the 6 speed box in question.

Any info would be much appreciated.

It won't.

Ratios deem it pointless on a G40 anyway- whilst you're changing gear in a 6 speed, I'll be accelerating away in a 5 speed  ^_^
