Hi, Does anybody know if this sold, if not, i`ll have it. Unless anyone wants to put me off or has better for the money.

That should be a good one. Been owned by that chap from about the same time i got my first G40 and first ventured onto the forums.

I would say that is a standard car. A few tiny bits done such as the master cylinder but original G40 master cylinders are a fortune from the stealers so the Golf replacement is a good alternative. Also if the ARB bushes are knackered (which they will have been at that mileage) makes sense to put something a little better in. Those bushes do make a difference.

Looks like a good honest car to me. If I was in the market I defo take a look at that one.

Car is local to me, from what I've seen of it, it looks like a nice standard example.  The chap who owns it has another G40 which he lavishes his time/money on...not seen it but it sounds like a great example too.  If I needed a G40 I'd have bought this one.

Yeah, it is still for sale, I should know  ;)

Have had loads of interest but no one wants to travel the length of the country, which I can understand, but if you want a good one you are going to have to be prepared to travel a bit.  

This car needs no work done for a good while.  That will easily cover the cost of a cheap flight to Aberdeen.
