leaking intercooler

i tried a mates supercharger on my car and turned out the seals were bust and it pissed oil out of the intercooler...now ive put my charger back on and its pretty much cleared up as it slowly burns it off..my concern is..if its pissed oil its gotta have a leak? the car doesnt feel under powered and it doesnt sound or look like it has a leak?
is it possible its just gone on the ends? anyone else had one die?

Are you sure its not oil that has somehow run down the outside of the intercooler pipes when changing the shot charger? If not and its definately come from the intercooler then theres definately a problem. How big a problem depends on where the oil has come from, seaped from between the rubber boost hoses under the jubbly clips? Rubber hose split slightly? Intercooler end cases cracked somehow?  Doesnt sound to bad if you arent loosing to much power though because any major split or leak would result in a fairly large loss of boosties!!

dunno really its strange...i defo need a new ribbed hose boost pipe. It's not split but its pretty tired looking and a bit cracked its on my list of things i want to change... as for where this oil was from i dunno its seems like intercooler but like i said its not lik ive noticed a massive lose in power.  usually a bust boost pipe or intercooler would be very hissy like the one i changed on an a4 the other day..that way really noise on boostwith a hole in it.....
