hand brake cables

anyone know what cables you can use for a rear disk conversion?

there arent' any that you can just use.  You have to modify some golf ones.  I've heard of people using mk3 golf ones, scirocco ones, mk1 golf (which are prob same as scirocco to be honest).  Then cut them down and use solderless motorbike cable nipples.

oh well ill use my polo ones and extend with copper pipe and do as you say crimp them with bike cable things.

extend with copper pipe?  Not sure what you mean there.  You'd have to fasten extra cable on the ends to use the polo ones but I'm not sure I'd like the idea of doing that.  Golf ones are too long so can be cut down and new ends crimped on.

standard polo cable part is too long but the outer part is too short so slide the copper pipe over the top. you get me?  :D
