Should there be a spring on the clutch lever on the gearbox

Any one got a picture of this, my clutch is extremely heavy and i dont have a spring, but not really sure where it should go.

Are the self adjusting ones no good then?

Ahhhhhhhh...... didn't know about this, I swapped to a manual cable at the weekend and found my pedal is getting progressively worse (squashy is about the best description I can come up with) and feels like the clutch is on its way out.

I'll have a gander, see if I can spot this spring.

Yeah same with mine swapped mine month or two back pictures will be great of how it should look..
