wheel bolts- please help?
« on: May 08, 2009, 10:59:58 pm »
orite guys, got myself a mint set of bbs ra's and finally got the tyres i wanted on them but my wheel bolts are to short, i have since read a thread on here saying that the mounting face on the 14's are about 5mm thicker, anyway i have been in to motor factors in my area and they cant help me. i can get the length but not with the right ball seat, could i go to WV and just ask for MK2 Golf Gti wheel bolts or are these different again.  Any help much appreciated, i have had these for months now and am desperate to get them on.

cheers Grant.

Mk2 Golf GTI wheel bolts will be exactly the same as the Polo ones (The 15 inch Golf 16V RA's have the same mounting face as 13 inch G40 RA's).

ah but 14" bbs were an optional extra - not std fitment so the bolts are longer!
