removal of imobilisor/keeping central locking.
« on: April 06, 2009, 02:08:28 pm »
I have a cat 1 imobilisor thats past it and has been disconnected..parts still work...i.e the sensors for the alarm if the windows open but really it all needs removing.  I also have central locking on a key fob and initially it all worked together until the imobilisor went spastic.  Now i want to have the alarm/imbolisor wiring completely removed and the wires that were cut reattached and rewrapped....however how can i do this and keep the central locking?  will a decent autoelectrician be able to do this and what components may i need to buy to do so?...what sort of job is this?  There doesnt seem to be that many wires from what i can see.
thanks.dan
