hall sender help

I have read the guide on here about how to replace the hall sender on the distributer. I ordered the part from GSF today and have dismantled the distributer in preparation. In the process, I've managed to split the stupid plastic drive pinion in 2 mad.gif

Can anyone tell me if the GSF hallsender comes with the pinion, shims, pin etc (the guy on the till said no, but they are not that reliable sometimes).

If not, what are my options? Can I get a replacement part easily. Is there a direct replacement from a similar car (I suppose I could swap the spindles over but am a bit nervous about splitting it again). Worst case, how long does it normally take VZ to get a new distributor and how much are they these days?
