i know that the pics in first place are not the cup version.
focus was on the suspension.
i do have an mk2 g40 and the cup version.
the guys from the netherlands are also known.
for now im (we are)just interested in the 2f uk cup version.
we never had those cars,volkswagen never did race them here.
the mk2 g40 cup had different parts then the limited 500 series or the second 1500 batch.
they had an subframe,shorter suspension,different eprom and the body was "welded all thru".
were kind of looking for all the features or modifications just happend to your cup version.
heard that the main uk vw importeur built those cars?
were looking for history,numbers of built cars......
what happend to them.
any info is very welcome.
