Well heres my G40 Polo.

Model: 1993 VW Polo G40

Engine: 1.3 Supercharged :D Jabba R1 charger (rebuilt by PSD) 65mm Pully and chip, stainless manifold, Custom Remus backbox, De-wedged throttle body.

Suspension: Avo -40 Springs and Damping adjustable shocks.

Brakes: Standard size EBC disk and Green stuff Pad. Drums on the back!

Wheels and Tyres: BK Racing Wheels 185 tyres (Soon to be Audi Pepperpots with 165-50-15 tyres)

Exterior Styling: Standard bumpers with Red strip, German style plates, Headlight Protectors.

Interior Styling: Half Leather front seats (German Car Company) Raid steering wheel, Aftermarket VW Gear Knob, Standard G40 split rear seat.

ICE and Security: Clifford CAT1 Alarm

Comments:

Bought the car back in July 06 for a largeish sum of money from Roo, after i wrote my rover off into a tree...

Bought the car looking like this:



And this is what its like now:



With winters over (or its ment to be soon) so i finally pulled my finger out and I'm getting my new wheels sorted.

Bought these at E38 last year for the massive sum of £40. Woo!!

Since then i've stripped them, and sorted the chips in the rim out, see below:




Bought two hub adapters as i wasnt sure they would fit the G, so best not waste £250 on them, they turned up yesterday so today i trial fitted them, and they fit Woo!!!! (just)

An yeah it did, i've spent a fair amount on it since then tho, as the car looked spot on, but had a fair few problems under the skin  :/

I have to say, I didn't notice that he'd said it used to be Roo's either but I did recognise the car.  Can't think of any others that colour with those headlight washers.

Ha! Windsor Blue... I didn't knew that the colour was named like that... I have the same too... In sun it becomes purple!

Woooo!! Thats the one

Nice to know other on here have th same colour. Its ment to be one of the rearest colours for a G too. I've only heard of 5.  :D

If it's Roo's old car (sorry to keep referring to it as that) then it's a minter. Before Roo owned it, this was in PVW in the Polo G40 buyers guide. I can't remember the name of the owner at the time.

Matt Finnis. He helped organise the club G40 stand at VWNW 2003 when i got my first G40!
