Does anybody know what the diffrence is between std. and 2,5" exhaust in terms of power?
Today i have the std exhaust and i notice that i have a flow/pressure issue, so i´m about to change to a larger system maybe 2.5" or bigger.
What do you think about this? Any recomendations?

Just watched that 0-120kph clip, the car pulls very well mate. Well done, an impressive increase in performance for not much money. Result!
I can't see the need to go beyond a 2 1/2" exhaust system, that should be plenty big enough for a small capacity turbo diesel engine.

Hi and thax Richard.
I will most likely go for a 2.5 inch exhaust.
The car is realy fast compered to before the conversion.
I was in the garage and made some fine adjustments yesterday, i will try to get a new clip up during the day, hard to tell if the u can see the diffrence on a videoclip.
But the car runs a bit better now, timing was a bit off and the fuel could be enriched evenmore.... .

So now the enging has reached its maximum performance with this setup i think.
More power, more modifications need to be done......clutch, smokelimmiter etc....
To much work for a small increase of power.. 

The only modification i might do is to mount a Intercooler but will not do that for the time beeing, dont see the use for it at the moment.

Added a new clip, not the best time but ok under the circumstances.

Hi all.
Some updates.
Have to redoo the flange on the manifold due to som heating problem.
Started to leak by cyl 1, and the power dropped due to this....

Can some one tell me if anyone has done this converting thing before me?
I have tried google but nothing pops up.
Only one guy in Netherlands but his car runs with a g-lader, am i the only one with turbo on a diesel???

Please help me in this matter.

I will do that in the future, can´t deside dimension though.
I saw a polo with 16" looks quite nice but tires are realy rare and expensive, so most likely i´ll go for 15".
But pleas let me know if u find some you think would fit.

Started today with the brakes.
Audi 80 GTE calippers etc.
Unfortuently the were in realy poor condition so it took a long time to get them sorted.



Any comments?

Have done a some work with the brakes.
Got my hands on a set with rear discs from golf 16v gti.
these were in rely poor conditions aswell.
