Polo breadvan g40 engine converstion?

Hi Iv got a friend with a pre facelift polo breadvan and he wants to convert it to a g40 engine and he keeps asking what he need to get the engine in the car running and I don't have a good answer for him really and I was hoping that someone that actually knows could help make a parts list so that we can stat parts hunting.

Any help would be incredibly useful
