Polo g40 stalling problems
« on: April 29, 2022, 11:36:07 am »
Hello everyone and hello from Croatia!

I have found lots of useful info in this forum and thank you for that :)

So, two months ago I got a polo g40. I bought a car with engine problem.

Here is the thing:

When starting and the engine is cold it is running like a minute or so.
Punching throttle, it dies immediately.

When it gets warmer it stalls every 10-15sec.

I have change fuel relay
Co pot
sparks

I have checked all wirings
Plug new ECU
measure pressure in rail and it is OK
lambda is OK also
check blue temp sensor, also OK.
ISV cleaned...
a lots more of stuff checked   ???
No faults...
It has been a few weeks in VW and they found nothing.

Do you have similar problems or maybe know what to look next? :o

here is a short video of how engine works.

what value is the co pot set at?

are the plug leads in the right order?

is the coil good, and quite new?

has the ignition timing been set on the distributor?
