How important is the clutch lever spring on top of the gearbox? Mine appears to have gone missing in the years between being taken off, rebuilt, and being out back in.
In a completely unrelated note, anyone got a spare clutch lever spring?

Is it the spring that's part of the clutch cable your needing? I should probably have an old cable with one if you need it. I'm pretty sure the sprung fingers on the pressure plate should do a good enough job of returning the lever once the engine and box are bolted up

No, it's the spring in top and outside of the gearbox. It's on the same lever as the clutch cable, but is just a spring.
