Another G40 saved - Club G40 mission to dagenham

Me and Samg40 on here tooled up, boot full of equipment to save another g40 from being, raped of parts or worse - crushed!!!

here it is -

I dropped me dad at work at 9.15am and proceeded from sheffield to dagenham.  Met Junior (6n g40 - top bloke) at 2pm and went to work.  I'll let the pics do the talking!








done!! and running


this is how cold it was!!




finished about 8.30pm after a few minor issues (late spec water pipe and loom, charger belt tension, gear linkage!) we were off home.

Got home about 1.30am!!!

Needs a few tweaks but it aint bad!

Mentalists for working in them temps.

I had Ice on the G inside the garage so just packed up and went inside. That was january the 2nd

His red Mk3 self harms!

It was bloody cold, I'm only just starting to feel warm again. Thanks to Junior for all his help and the brews, top lad. Trust Pete to pick one of the coldest weekends to do something like this.

the white one will get a good going over soon - making sure our pikey behaviour wasn't toooo pikey but getting there!

So you managed to get it done that day then, real top job. It looked like things were going pretty well for you when i turned up, and hell yeah, i can confirm it was bloody cold (and i was only out the car for 10mins or so)!!! Glad you got it back all safe and sound. Spot on Pete!!
