Franck BRUNEAUX

Hello,

I'm Franck and I'm a G40 fan since 1988. My first new car was a G40 and since 3 years now, I'm the owner of one of the 500 G40 made for France betwin 1988 and 1989.
This is the 259/500. This car is "full stock" .
My english is not very good so why it's not possible to speak a lot with you, but maybe, we could exchange about our passion throught several photos.
Some photos of my car:

Nice to meet you.

Yes, the cut out on the front panel is made to get the access to the "G".

By this way, you can streach the belt of the G charger, or do the other things you need to do on.

See you.

Franck

all very intresting

did this come with vented discs ?  what about catalizer and lambda sensor?

keep the pics coming  :D

Franck BRUNEAUX

Hello,

Yes this Polo is with vented disc:

In 1989, cars weren't catalised. It's the reason why à G40 MK2 give 115 hp and a G40 MK3 (built in 1991) give 113 hp with the same engine (code engine PY)

See you

steveo3002

ah okay thank you...so no cat and no o2 sensor too?

i have a early 3f ecu..doesnt seem to have a o2 facility but unsure what theyre were like

Franck BRUNEAUX

Hello,

Last 6th on april, it was the youngtimer festival in Montlhéry near Paris. We were about 12 G40  to "make the show":
