stuck already haha (N)

how the hell do you remove the front slam panel and or attaching panels ? ? ?

the front slam panel is welded on.  You'll need a spot weld drill or use an angle grinder to grind through the top part of the metal where the spot welds are.  Obviously you'll have to replace the panel with a new one after this!  I riveted mine on so it can be removed easily to take the engine out.

what do you mean by "attaching panels"?

well i thought bolts along the top of slam panel and the two closest bolts on the wing nooo so i am goin to have to cut and weld (N) dam !!

fuck looked over the engine the other day thought hmm dont look to bad

proved wrong ! ! might check in a haynes to see what they say :P

managed to get the rad/cowling/fan and charger pip off without removing the slam panel

oh right, yeah you can get all that out without removing the slam panel, the only reason to remove the slam panel is to replace it.  Glad you are sorted  8)
