Piston set or 1w bottom end

its more likely its the rings, not the pistons worn

I have a set of 76mm wossners and new rings. Ran these briefly in an engine which I had problems with. Have done no actual mileage.

I've had the pistons out 2 of them the edges have melted away the rings are ok

you do need pistons then.... and to ascertain why thye have melted!  (fuel pumps, wiring, map etc)

NUmber 2 and 3 cylinders where completely dry and we're egniting to soon and that's why they melted apparently according to the mechanics.so I need to pistons but will change them all of I can't get get hold of two

I'd let them go for £450 posted. I don't really want to sell them; as I'd like to build another engine, but sensible head had been having a clear out recently.

There's a possibility the 1W on eBay belongs to yousaf nabi as I know he's having a damn good clear out. Think he's a member on here so could message him and he might get a notification.
