Title: Piston set or 1w bottom end

basically bottom ends gone so need replacement ASAP cash waiting please get back to me ASAP if you have either want to get my 40 back on the road many thanks matt

I’ve just found it I haven’t got a spare grand do you have any spare pistons?ive gotta service my charger and do other bits too.

its more likely its the rings, not the pistons worn

I have a set of 76mm wossners and new rings. Ran these briefly in an engine which I had problems with. Have done no actual mileage.

I’ve had the pistons out 2 of them the edges have melted away the rings are ok

you do need pistons then.... and to ascertain why thye have melted!  (fuel pumps, wiring, map etc)

NUmber 2 and 3 cylinders where completely dry and we’re egniting to soon and that’s why they melted apparently according to the mechanics.so I need to pistons but will change them all of I can’t get get hold of two

I'd let them go for £450 posted. I don't really want to sell them; as I'd like to build another engine, but sensible head had been having a clear out recently.

There's a possibility the 1W on eBay belongs to yousaf nabi as I know he's having a damn good clear out. Think he's a member on here so could message him and he might get a notification.
