Dutch Polo G40 driving in UK second week of July

Hi,

In the second week of July  we are driving from Dover to the north cost of Devon & Cornwall and back with our purple Polo G40.
Our Polo (7/1994) has driven already more than 500.000 km.

It's in the second week
We are now boarding ons the ferry tot Dover.
We will return to the Netherlands next saturday, July 15th.

There's a few G40's around where you're going, hard to remember where now as there's not many of us in the UK! Also, this is the only G40 club and it's a bit quiet nowadays.

Not many Polo's left over here now! I do ~ 80miles/day and will on occasion see 1..... and that's local!

Shame you weren't here last week for the weather. Enjoy your trip and your stay in the UK!

We were staying on the coast of North Devon near Horn Cross.

The weather was quite nice. That is, except for Tuesday 11th - all day rain.

In the Netherlands are ± 150 registered G40's, but only ± 50 do have a valid APK (~MOT) and insurance.

We didn't spot a G40 or an other Polo 2F; but we did see a Polo 2 Steilheck, on the parking at the top of Clovelly harbour.
