1.8t Inlet Manifold / Throttle Body
« on: May 04, 2017, 02:39:35 pm »
Hi All,

I remember from years ago somebody ( I think Steve Pitt AKA PSD / Beavis) had welded a 1.8t inlet plenum section to the G40 runners?

Trying to tidy my bay and am keen to find the pic, this is probably going back best part of a decade!

I presume he used a 1.8t Throttle body?

Any info well received.. think the car was blue?!

Ta

Rich

Yes he had the runners welded in a 1.8t plenum and he used a AGU TB.

The car had a standalone ecu and had no issues. If you want to use the 1.8t TB and the Digifant ecu you have to find a way to make the idle and wot switches operate correctly.
