Wich wheels would look best?
« on: September 23, 2016, 02:41:42 pm »
I have an opportunity to buy 13x8 ET0/1 wheels but can't make up my mind.
Wheels are original minilites and ATS classics....I'm currently running 15x7.5 bbs look a like wheels but these rub the inner arch like you wouldn't believe...
Please help me out..post pics, opinions...
Will appreciate

ET0/1 on an 8J will stick out the arch quite a bit I suspect especially on the front.

You can get ATS Classics with a more friendly ET in 7J but even the 8J's on the back with no spacer they stick out (stretch required)

I've seen a picture of 8J ATS classics on a mk3 coupe, they stuck out the front about 3 miles! No idea what ET they were but it looked awful.

I run 13" BBS Mahles on mine, 6J ET13, they sit perfect on the front and a spacer on the back is fine to get them a bit more out towards the arch.

The Ats are a nl go since the seller turned out to be a turd... It was not here, don't worry. I searched spme more and found a set of 8j and 7j ally cat rallye specials...great looking set of wheels. Might be going this route instead, thank you for all your support, quick and honest...
I'll post a pic of my car with the 15inch wheels...they look far better live.
But the rubbing issue really turns me off
