1341cc engine with ported head, R1 charger, and last few goodies
« on: September 05, 2016, 01:44:57 pm »
Prices are collected/delivered.

1341cc bottom end, 77mm wosner pistons and gas flowed head. Work was carried out by TSR and was a full rebuild. Have receipts to show. Not really willing to split block and head. £1000 (This does not come with dizzy, cam, tappets, rocker cover but does include water pump. If 2 people are wanting head and block separate it will be £800 for block and head £300) I can deliver this at cost of fuel.

Jabba air kit (without heat shield), different air filter to the green one they use and the adapter to fit to the charger £50

PPP exhaust manifold. Only been on for 2 years. Has extra lambda bung for wide band gauge. £325

Custom exhaust system made for manifold above. Lifetime warranty by longlife. £200 on its own or £450 if bought with manifold.

Airbox to charger £20

G-lader/engine mount £15

Bailey dump valve £30

Pipework to fit above DV to throttle body, 1 silicone joiner to metal reduction and 1 more silicone pipe £20. Will sell for £60 with DV above.

G40 ECU with the map for my 1341cc setup. With a map costing £300 I’m asking £250 which i think is fair. If a buyer buys the engine, i will include this for £200.

G40 spare ECU loom £80

Jabba R1 spec charger, last full rebuild was april 2014 by pete and a partial rebuild in 2012 (4 oil seals and 2 bearings) and have just replaced all the oil seals and timing belt as 1 seal failed recently but pulled them all out. The charger rebuild had all bearings replaced including top scroll and also i had the countershaft bearings replaced with uprated ones. The charger does have some nicks on the scroll, pete picked this up on the 2012 rebuild probably due to crap air filter from last owner. All is looking good inside the charger and the nicks have not got any worse. The seals are all fine now and not leaking at all, just been to santa pod and back and 300 miles later no problems. Boosts absolutely fine with 10/12psi making my engine a strong 171bhp (bearing in mind my spec, was 17psi before engine work). The charger was bought brand new and made R1 spec straight away and the mileage is about 30k but i will check. Might seem pricey but I’m asking £575, includes modded elbow, bracket and blanking plate.

My location is Somerset

Hi jezza,

Am I reading that you have a genuine shell for sale in that last sentence? If so I'm hugely interested, if I have understood you right I have cash waiting for the right one even if it means doing a lot of bodywork. I unfortunately had my g40 wrote off some time ago by some nice people coming through a red light, and  transferred all of my g40 to a cl re-shell, I ve been looking to do a proper restoration for years.
