im dabbling with the idea...again... to sell up. im tempted to get a lupo gti but to get some idea of money i need a rough guesstimate on what my g40 is worth to decide wether its worth selling or just keeping. im not asking for your opinion as to me selling or not LOL just how much you think is a reasonable price considering the following and the current market. ideas on wether to sell the plate seperatly or not? i may keep it like i said i just need a rough guide as to what its worth, to see what i can afford to do.

gearbox rebuilt by JP race about 6k ago with new bearings and seals and refitted with new vag release bearing and vag gearbox oil.
The car is mechanically spot on. it has a slight miss fire on morning start up but drives really really well, actually i dont know why i want to sell. I will not sell the car until this sorted and am 90% sure as to what this is so lets presume this is out of the question as it will be sorted.
I am a complete fanny about this car, any amount of money is spent to keep it right!
i have a wallet of all the reciepts which i dare not count up
Bad points:back box is non genuine g40 and will probably only last another year
the body work
im going to be more critical than necessasy.
the worst is the boot, its rotten on the inside and will need replacing but the car will come with a black tailgate which has absolutly no rust whatsoever which ive been storing.
the rear corner pices below the lights have started to rust and need sorting. there is a couple of small dings (minor)
there are a few small bits here and there. but the car overall is structurally great and to make it totally mint needs a good strip down a full shoot and putting back together. the body itsself is solid! the sills are great! (nobody is allowed to touch them with a jack!)
the main bits that need sorting are replaceable panels. but the car will come with 2 new unfitted vag wings which is doesnt really need, a boot, a passenger door. ALL TOTALLY RUST FREE!!
and a boot lid vinyl! unfitted!
I cant think of anything else to say, this is one amazing G40 it just needs someone to finish the body work off and it will be even more amazing!! doesn't leak anything whatsoever! as far as im convinced its had all the money spent in the right places it just needs some one to detail it!
i wont sell the car to anyone this is my baby, if i think for a second your gonna fuck it up i'll tell you and you wont buy it! that sounds harsh but i can afford to do that!
