I know,
the fabled 1W topic has reared its ugly head again.
Its no secret I bought Kiz's 1W setup off him a while ago. I have my donor G40 shell sorted and now I am onto the engine build. I've had different advice 1W, stay standard PY or go 1341 etc.
At the moment I still want to build up the 1w however threads on them are few and far between. What I am after is any experience people have had building them up, not telling me why not to do it but how to do it correctly avoiding common pitfalls etc.
For instance I know I have to drill holes in head to 11mm to accept the 11mm 1w headbolts thus no risking cracking the head when it gets hot and expands.
Its other build bits like this I need to know, knock sensor location/how to etc.
I plan to go down the G60 route.
