personally i would not pay more than £800 i think £1000 is a really good offer, no mot, none original it is only worth what the engine alone is worth

Well £2300 is what I'd exect to pay for a tidy genuine example with MOT.

I'd be happy to give you £1000 for yours considering it has no MOT, has sat for 3 years, needs some TLC and isn't a genuine G40.

Do you have a more realistic price in mind?

I would bite kwijibo's arm off at a grand. The car itself isn't in good condition, there's a few issues with the car, no MOT, it's a non-genuine G40 and it will need trailered away. There's easily another £1000 needing spent on the car to get it to a point where it would be worth £1500.

Bear in mind a couple of mint and original G40's were advertised for around d the £2k Mark and they didn't sell for quite some time.

There was also a G40 converted GT sold for £900 in December with MOT, alloys, cage, etc.

I don't mean to trample on your hopes of getting a good price but your looking for more than double what it's worth.

I must admit, I was shocked when I saw the price considering the state of it, perhaps if you'd valeted it first and the engine bay! ;)
I've been keeping an eye out on G40 ads for a year or two now. I'd be interested if you do reduce the price, solely to bang the engine etc into my black shell.
